        Mont Blanc

        Colorado

Alpine climbing generally involves less technical difficulties with the added challenge of achieving a summit or completing a traverse. High mountain itineraries involve moving quickly to cover terrain efficiently. In Colorado there are over 50 14,000’ peaks to climb and hundreds of other worthy climbs in the mountains. Capitol Peak, Little Bear, and the Crestones all offer technical routes at high elevations.

Europe offers the ultimate in Alpine climbing with the aid of trams, trains and mountain huts. The European trifecta of Mont Blanc, the Matterhorn and the Eiger are the highlights, but many other worthy peaks just off the beaten path beckon as well.

I also offers expeditions on some of the highest peaks from Alaska to Mexico, Europe and South America. Denali, the highest peak in North American is a world class expedition in its own right. Orizaba in Mexico is a less technical peak at over 18,000 feet above sea level!
